Hi all,
A bit later than expected but today you could watch the European Chain Reaction news flash.
We hope everyone is satisfied with the outcome and the ranking. You all did an amazing job and you all are real scientists!
Maybe you want to know which countries gave you all that votes?
Just have a look at this voting table and you will know!
Who builds and films the most astonishing and creative Rube Goldberg / Robert S. Petersen-like chain reaction in 2018? Let's build ONE BIG CROSS BORDER EUROPEAN CHAIN REACTION!

21 - Croatia - Technical Chain Reaction
This year, chain reaction was a special challenge for me.
I've never had such a difficult time in life, but I've never been more determined to succeed.
I am very proud of my students! It was not easy for them in this situation. They were my strength to do this project. I'm endlessly grateful to them.
This project was their wish. I just made sure to make it happen.
Our school is made of three parts, that is, three schools. We wanted to show you our youngest children from all three schools and introduce our school. That's why you have three chains in the video.
We hope you will like it!
1. Primary school "Ivan Meštrović", Old Perkovci
2. Primary school "Ivan Meštrović", Čajkovci
3. Primary school "Ivan Meštrović", Vrpolje
All three make up one school. The main school is this in Vrpolje. These two schools are designed so that little children do not have to travel while they are small. But when they come to the 5th grade, they go to main school with bus and from 5th to 8th they attend the main primary school in Vrpolje.

20 - Armenia - Technical Chain Reaction
Our Chain Reaction is not only technical, but tasty, too, as it is made of wafer.
19 - Germany - Technical Chain Reaction
Our chain reaction takes us back in time to the stone age, where the really big inventions were made. We built it all outside, so we had to fight with the weather, especially with the wind...
18 - France - Technical Chain Reaction
This is the french try for technical chain reaction. We started too late this year and couldn't fix the end but anyway, it was fun to participate!
"The important thing is taking part !"
17 - Bosnia and Herzegovina - Technical Chain Reaction
15 - Estonia - Technical Chain Reaction
14 - Norway - Technical Chain Reaction
Greetings from Norway!

11 - Latvia - Technical Chain Reaction
It was not easy but finally we did it!

8 - Finland - Technical Chain Reaction
It's ready! The chain reaction from Finland was built in Riihenmäki school, which is the brand new school where Sari, the Finnish teacher from previous ECR-projects started to work last August. Sari is the 4th grade teacher now. Saara, who teaches 5th grade, agreed to join the project, so we had a great co-operation project between our classes.
It's been a challenge to start a new school, but eTwinning has landed there already. This is just one example of different projects our school is participating this school year.
We hope you like our chain reaction. You will have a change to look around in our new school too!
Good luck everyone!

7 - Belgium - Technical Chain Reaction
Hi to all you scientists and fans,
Qworzó - Belgium proudly presents its technical chain reaction 2018!
Some weeks ago 45 brilliant engineers mastered to create this Rube Goldberg Machine. In this Rube Goldberg machine we use 2 self made pumps to pump up water from one bucket to another. These pumps were made for a science competition we participated in.
We hope you may enjoy watching our chain as much as we did while building it!
We look forward to watching all your chains appear to the blog! We want to wish you the best of luck with the voting in a couple of weeks and we look forward to reading your comments!
Please share our video wherever you want!
Kind regards,
The children in year 6 at Qworzó, Merksplas, Belgium

6 - Scotland - Technical Chain Reaction
Hello from Scotland!
Yester Primary School's P4 class did all the work here - the children planned in small groups, built and finalised their chain reaction entirely by themselves.
We had some problems with the filming, but we hope you enjoy our chain reaction.
Good luck to all teams!
5 - England - Technical Chain Reaction
Happy New Year to you all!
This year we have tried to involve as many people as possible in the Chain Reaction. Sometimes it did not run smoothly and needed a helping hand but that is part of the learning. We hope you enjoy the end result.

4 - Austria - Technical Chain Reaction
Happy new year to all! :) Greetings from our school in Wildbach, Austria. Pupils in the age of 6 did the chain reaction with their teacher Johannes Windisch in a different and creative way -"The snake, part 2". We had lot of fun and we hope you enjoy it. We are looking forward to watch your videos!

3 – Iceland – Technical Chain Reaction
Greetings from our 4th graders in Flataskóli, Garðabær, Iceland. This was one of our Christmas project before before we went for a Christmas break. Hope you enjoy it. We are looking forward to watch your chains.
